Poetry

I started writing poetry at a very young age. My first poem was when I was in second grade. I continued to write through high school and won state poetry competitions. I had always been a lover of the arts, but that love increased after my first child was born and I decided to pick up my camera. Thus began my Writing Art Journey. I continued to write and create art during my other careers, never thinking one day I would actually get to pursue an ART career. Through unseen changes in my life, I now get to live my dream of writing and creating my art! I published my first book of art and poetry in November of 2017 and have other books in the works.

I am a true believer in the statement

"When One Door Closes Another Will Open" because I am living proof!
